Job Role: CEO Microinsurance
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree/ HND with minimum of 7 years of relevant post qualification experience for Associates of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria or 10 years working experience in the technical department of an insurance company for non-Associates.
- Good knowledge of legal and regulatory framework of insurance business.
- Evidence of strong industry knowledge and positive influence.
Job Objectives:
The CEO will manage and provide strategic direction for the company while also overseeing the implementation of all marketing and growth trajectory of the company.
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- The CEO is to ensure that the desired results are attained and are consistent with the overall strategy of the company.
- Decide the strategic direction of the company both in the short and long term.
- Liaise with the top management to improve corporate governance, management control.
- Develop target-driven business plans and budgets for the company in meeting set objectives.
- Develop the overall marketing strategy for micro insurance.
- Interface with regulators and ensure compliance with all NAICOM guidelines, etc.
- Motivate, manage and lead team members and offer professional guidance and supports.
- Perform other duties or responsibilities that may be reasonably required from time to time.
